About the wine
Carignano is also known as Carinena or Carignan in Spain and France. The strong vines usually produce wines that are intense in taste and color. In Sardinia, Carignano is mainly grown in the south and southwest.

Tasting note
The grapes come from the municipality of Sant'Antioco in the southwest of the island. The color is a brilliant ruby red, the intense bouquet is multi-faceted and reminiscent of dark berries and precious spices. Delicately spicy, warm and rich on the palate, but without sacrificing elegance as a result.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with braised dishes, wild ragout or aged pecorino
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand and carefully selected. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine ages in large wooden barrels for 12 months.
