About the wine
It draws its strength and energy from the slate, loamy soils in Burgundy. The winemaker from the French winery Joseph Drouhin transforms it into a real treat with great sensitivity. With the special Cote de Beaune AC from 2013, you will positively surprise your guests.

Tasting note
The overall impression of this specialty, which is made from the vineyards on the slopes around Beaune and often with a high proportion of grapes from the famous CLOS DES MOUCHES single vineyard, is very positive. The aroma is evidence of great winemaking and is typical: pure berry fruit (strawberry, raspberry, cherry, some plum). The nose also reveals spicy aromas, notes of forest soil, mushrooms and fine minerality. This is accompanied by a straight, vivid structure and a filigree texture. The aftertaste is classic, long and delightful. All in all, this Pinot Noir is a prime example of how Burgundy can also impress in the lower-priced segment.

Goes well with vegetable terrine, veal in cream sauce, sliced veal, chicken breast, poached egg

Aged for 10-12 months in pièce (French oak barrel with a capacity of 228 liters)
