About the wine
From a careful selection of Negroamaro grapes, this intense red wine is made, which is part of the “COLLEZIONE PRIVATA” Cosimo Varvaglione.

Tasting note
On the nose, it reveals an elegant combination of notes of red fruits, black pepper, cinnamon, tobacco and distinct hints of licorice, which are released by aging in French and American wood for at least 6 months. On the finish, it leaves a long and lasting balsamic complexity on the palate.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meats, sauces and aged cheeses.
Vinification
Vinification with maceration at a controlled temperature of 24° - 26°C. After malolactic fermentation, aging in French barrels and American tonneaux for at least 6 months.
