This dominant Pinot Noir 2014 — Corton Grand Cru crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. This Pinot Noir draws its strength and energy from the clayey, calcareous soils in Burgundy. Tasting note
The Corton Grand Cru is dark ruby red and has notes of black cherry, licorice and coffee on the nose. Harmonious on the palate with silky tannins that give it a delicate elegance.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with stews, beef, game.
Vinification
The vinification traditionally takes place in large open barrels. Malolactic fermentation. For ten to twelve months, the Corton Grand Cru is then aged in oak barrels from our own coopery (15% new) directly on the Château Corton-Grancey estate.
