If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it is this dominant Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 — Cortazo Merlot Cabernet Riserva DOC. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian Weingut Pfitscher masters this red wine in the picturesque and blooming landscape of South Tyrol. Tasting note
The grapes for Cortazo grow in the hot “Brenntal” location in Kuratsch. A strong and complex cuvée with fine tannins, which is ruby red in color. Slight nuances of violets and wild berries can be seen on the nose. It is full-bodied on the palate and velvety on the finish.
