Tasting note
The Camel Valley Brut is bright golden yellow. The nose is dominated by fresh aromas of citrus fruits, fern, elderflowers and some honey. On the palate, in turn, lots of fruit paired with a juicy acid structure and a fine perlage. A wonderfully refreshing sparkling wine that could surprise many champagne lovers. “Waitrose Weekend Magazine” writes: “You can't go wrong with Camel Valley, a delicious sparkling wine with as much complexity as a large champagne. Camel Valley is a national treasure with flavors fit for a king and queen.” There is nothing to add
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, starters of all kinds, oysters, festive occasions
Vinification
After manual harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed. The juice is fermented into a base wine at cool temperatures. This is followed by the traditional method of second fermentation in the bottle. The sparkling wine is then aged on full yeast in the bottle for approx. 24 months before disgorging and gently dosing.
