About the wine
Sunny and fertile landscapes in Apulia give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Castello Monaci conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. This dominant Shiraz 2016 — Coribante Rosso Salento IGP crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. Tasting note
Ruby red color with slight garnet reflections. This cuvée is made from the wine from the current Syrah harvest and the Malvasia Nera aged in barriques for 12 months. The bouquet is very fresh and balanced, with aromas of sweet cherry, raspberry, red currant, juniper berries and bitter almond. On the palate, on the other hand, expansive fruit, carried by minerality and finely integrated tannins. This complex Salento Rosso impresses with its fine texture, rich body and an intense fruit aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with salami, lamb, grilled beef, gorgonzola and parmesan.

Aged for 12 months in barriques (Malvasia Nera)
