About the wine
With the fine Corda della Briccolina Barolo DOCG, which was produced in 2009, you will certainly have a lot of fun. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Beni di Batasiolo masters this red wine in the fertile and picturesque landscape of Piedmont.

Tasting note
Shiny pomegranate red; scented rose petals on the nose, very rich in finesse with aromas of candy, caramel, dried pomegranate seeds and dried fruit. Complex on the palate with a sweet-looking start, present, very well-integrated acidity and a wide range of aromas. Harmonious on the long aftertaste.

Vinification
The best hilltop locations of Batasiolo in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba at 360 to 400 m above sea level are intended for this top barolo. After strict quality control and gentle pressing of the grapes, maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks. The young wine is then aged and refined for two years in larger wooden barrels and a small portion in 225 l French barriques. After barrel aging, the wine is still in the bottle for a year before it is sold.
