Tasting note
Ventum has substance, complexity, and harmony. It is an extremely intense wine, with enveloping tannins, dominated by red berries, ripe cherries and spicy notes, with a wonderfully persistent finish. Sforzato reveals and enhances all the elegance and finesse of this blessed terroir in the heart of Sassella. Extensive and powerful, it is a wine that is unique in the world.

Vinification
Sforzato is the wine that was “born from the wind”, created by the natural drying of Nebbiolo grape bundles in “Fruttaio” thanks to the breezes of Lake Como, for about 100 days. The Ventum grapes are harvested in small batches from the highest vineyard, 600 meters near the San Lorenzo monastery, and dried until January. An intense, all-encompassing wine with complex and long-lasting aromas. Maceration on the skins for 14 days, aging in barrels of various sizes for 15 months.
