About the wine
St. Michael-Eppan is a cooperative consisting of 350 winegrowers and is one of the largest and most successful wineries in South Tyrol. Despite its size, quality has been paramount since it was founded in 1907, which is why it is also one of the best winegrowers' cooperatives in the world today. The outstanding oenologist Hans Terzer has been managing the winery since 1977.

Tasting note
The amber-colored Passito delights with an extremely aromatic nose of apricots, apricot jam, lychee, rose water, honeydew melon and honey. Balanced on the palate with juicy acidity, which harmonizes well with the concentrated residual sweetness. The long finish is supported by the intense aroma intensity and remains present on the palate even minutes later.
Vinification
The almost rosine grapes are left on the vine until the end of the year and are thus air-and sun-dried naturally. They are then gently pressed and fermented and aged partly in steel and partly in small wood.
