Tasting note
The Chardonnay grapes come from sites in “Le Mesnil sur Oger” and “Villeneuve”. At 78%, the basis is the 2021 vintage, 15% of which was aged in barriques and the rest in steel tanks, plus 22% reserve wines, which were also stored in steel tanks. The nose shows aromas of yellow fruits, citrus, honey melon and some pear, underpinned by delicate floral tones and mineral-spicy notes. Clear on the palate, with juicy ripe fruit, nice freshness and elegant spiciness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pearl barley risotto with vegetables, apples and tarragon, marinated mackerel with pickled radishes and grilled corn, or other sophisticated fish dishes. But also wonderful with poultry and white meats.
