Tasting note
A beautiful, thick red with purple reflections. The bouquet is intense with aromas of red fruits such as raspberries and cherries, as well as vanilla. The taste is full-bodied, pleasant and velvety, with a long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with grilled meat, hearty pasta dishes, aged cheese and game dishes.
Vinification
The destemelling is followed by a traditional, brief maceration at a controlled temperature, with multiple pumping for dye and tannin extraction. The young wine is aged for 8-12 months in French oak barriques.
