Tasting note
Intense, shiny ruby red with purple reflections. Typical primitivo bouquet of cassis and dark wild berries. Deliciously spicy notes of wild flowers and ripe cherries. Full on the palate and at the same time pleasantly velvety, with the typical fruit sweetness. A long finale rounds off the whole thing wonderfully.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 15°-18°C. The ideal enjoyment phase of this wine is in the following period: 1-4 years. Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Goes well with duck, poultry and slightly spicy red meat.
Vinification
The destemelling is followed by a traditional, short mash fermentation at a controlled temperature, with multiple pumping for better dye and tannin extraction. The wine is then aged in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
