Tasting note
The grapes for this single-varietal Pinot Noir come from the “Les Chauds Champs” individual vineyard. The base wine was aged in used 350 and 500 liter oak barrels. The nose shows aromas of red berries, pomegranate, juicy pome fruit and nectarines, finely spicy with notes of blooming herbs, some tobacco and freshly baked apple-nut crumble. Exciting, elegant palate with juicy fruit, full-bodied, yet a nice balance of fruit sweetness, good supporting freshness and finely salty seasoning.
Culinary recommendation
A great accompaniment to Moroccan cuisine, such as couscous or tabbouleh with herbs, cherry tomatoes, dates and pine nuts, to chicken tagine with dried apricots or to fried fish with fennel and pomegranate.
