Tasting note
Bright amber with slight turbidity Fresh herbal notes, tea, wax, honey and a light sweet fruit. A dry wine with a never-ending length and incredible complexity. The palate shows ripe fruit with fine tannins, lively acidity and a very mineral finish. It is an orange wine, also known as “Coctura”. These Riesling grapes remain in oak barrels for 180 days with their skins, which develop taste, tannins and an amber-orange color. The wine is then aged in steel tanks for 6 months. After unfiltered bottling, the wine remains in the bottle for a further 18 months before it is finally released for sale. An exceptional fabric and an excellent companion for meals.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with game dishes, grilled meat or bouillabaisse.
Vinification
Selective harvest by hand. 180 days of maceration and fermentation with the vineyard's own yeasts in new Croatian barriques, unembellished, unsulphured.Brilliant!!!
