With the Cock Unchained, winemaker Delfi Sanahuja from the Mas Romeu winery has achieved an unbelievable hit. The blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot was stored in French oak barrels for over 18 months and lies dormant in the winery's catacombs for another 7 years. Production 999 bottles. Celler Mas Romeu is a 14th century Catalan estate located in Puig de Guarda, north of Barcelona. David's parents, Albert and Clo produce the Senglar (boar) there together with their friend and winemaker Delfi Sanahuja. After living in France for many years, you decided to revive your grandparents' winery in 2000. They planted half of the estate with local grapes such as Grenach, Carignan and Nutmeg and the other half with Merlot, Cabernte, Syrah and Mourvedre.
