About the wine
This 100% Chardonnay cuvée from these historic vineyards in the heart of Reims draws its essence from an exceptional terroir where history and nature merge. Protected by high walls, these vineyards benefit from a unique, warmer microclimate, which enables optimal ripening of the grapes. The calcareous soil, a natural material from the Gallo-Roman chalk quarries over which it lies, gives it a mineral note that is reflected in every sip.

Tasting note
On the nose, the cuvée combines refinement and generosity and reveals a bouquet of honey and vanilla, underlined by fruity notes of pure laude and tangerines. After a few moments, nuances of verbena, orange blossom and bergamot enrich the overall picture. On the palate, the clear and mineral prelude to a finely chiselled and silky texture unfolds. The aromatic depth is expressed with freshness and fullness and leaves a persistent finish with iodine-rich and lemony accents.
