Fertile and sunny landscapes of Vaud give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Swiss winery Charles Rolaz / Hammel SA conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Tasting note
A strong body and distinctive acidity result in the fruity red wine, which, balanced with fine tannins in the mouth, shows a lot of character and class.

Goes well with grilled red meat, lamb gigot, deer, duck, black truffles, cheese and porcini mushrooms
Vinification
For many years, the entire winery has been managed according to environmentally friendly principles. Ripeness monitoring to determine harvest time, yield limit, harvest and hand-pick to keep berries intact. Additional sorting out of the best berries upon arrival in the cellar. Maceration on the skins for approximately three weeks. Ageing on fine lees in oak barrels for 18 months.
