Tasting note
Die fruchtigen Aromen des Clos de la George Les Ecots Grand Cru von Banane drücken viel Finesse mit einer ganz einzigartigen Struktur aus. Im Anschluss zeigen die zarten Nuancen von schwarzem Pfeffer, Himbeere und Veilchen ihren eigenen Charakter. Leichter Körper und dominante Säure ergeben den Rotwein, welcher samtig mit dezenten Gerbstoffen im Mund sehr viel Charakter und Klasse zeigt.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with leg of lamb, game, white and black truffles, mushrooms, cheese.
Vinification
For many years, the entire winery has been managed according to environmentally friendly principles. Monitoring the degree of ripeness to determine the harvest time, limit yield, harvest and selection by hand so that the berries remain intact. Additional sorting out of the best berries upon arrival in the cellar. Mash fermentation for approximately three weeks. Aging on fine lees in oak barrels for 10-12 months. Bottling without clarification or filtration.
