About the wine
When Valais wine icon Gérald Clavien was looking for a successor solution for his vineyards in Miège and the surrounding area, it quickly became clear to the two friends Amédée Mathier and Urs Zweifel that they wanted to seize this opportunity. They founded a company based in Valais and named it Bercoula, after the most famous wine location that they had taken over jointly from Clavien. Maison Bercoula's heart beats for the local grape varieties: Petite Arvine, Heida, Humagne Rouge, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Humagne Blanc. Maison Bercoula combines its Valais heart with Zurich spirit.

Tasting note
This fine, elegant wine impresses with a floral bouquet reminiscent of linden and apricot blossoms. The nice freshness, the good structure and the excellent length offer a special treat and are the basis for storage for up to 10 years.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish, white meat and Asian dishes, but also with an aperitif.
Vinification
Most of the wine was aged in steel tanks, a small proportion matured in wooden barrels.
