About the wine
The medieval village of Castello d'Albola is picturesquely situated on the Chianti hills, in a place of incomparable beauty, characterized by history, art and a harmonious landscape. Once owned by important Tuscan noble families such as Acciaioli, Samminiati, Pazzi and Ginori Conti, it has belonged to the Zonin family since 1979. She has been taking care of the winery with dedication for over 30 years. Under her management, both the vineyards and the agricultural business were expanded, which today covers over 900 hectares, including 150 hectares of vineyards.

Tasting note
Ruby red. While the bouquet combines dry fruit and flowers, this Chianti taste impresses with sophisticated wood notes. Pleasant, medium-long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with cheese, beef, stews.
Vinification
Traditional mash fermentation for three weeks. Biological acid degradation. The wine is then aged for 20 months in French and Slavonian oak barrels. This is followed by twelve months in steel tanks and six months in bottle.
