Tasting note
A thoroughbred Sangiovese. Fluorescent ruby red. Multi-faceted bouquet of good intensity, with clear notes of red berries. Rich on the palate, distinct fruit is also accompanied by a finely spicy component. Tannin and acid are very well integrated and contribute to the overall harmonious impression.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with pasta with meat sauces, grilled meat, game dishes and mature hard cheese.
Vinification
Mash fermentation takes around ten days. A third of the wine is then aged in used barriques for six months, the rest in vitrified cement tanks.
