Tasting note
With brilliant clarity with a fresh green tint, the Allesverloren Chenin Blanc is presented in the glass and invites you with a bouquet of yellow apple, fresh lime and subtle pencil lead. Medium-bodied, this freshly unwooded chenin spoils you with delicious nuances of ripe stone fruit, a well-balanced acidity and an extremely soft and elegant finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif, fish dishes or light poultry.
Vinification
The hand-picked grapes come from bush vines in the picturesque Swartland region. After squeezing the berries, the juice was first slightly clarified and then selected yeast cultures were added. After the alcoholic fermentation was complete, the wine spent a further 3 months on the fermentation yeast before being bottled for fresh enjoyment.
