About the wine
Chenin blanc is the most commonly grown white grape variety in South Africa. This Chenin Blanc has matured in 400l French barriques for 11 months, 33% of which are in new wood. The name Chenin means with wood, a successful food companion.

Tasting note
Dense, intense golden yellow, very deep nose with lots of minerals, reminiscent of honey, even slightly overripe fruits, dense, luscious and strong on the palate. Intense roasted aromas, long-lasting.
Culinary recommendation
It can be served with a fish-based entree, but also goes well with grilled seafood or as an accompaniment to asparagus.
