The Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine region is known to most people only for its strong red wines. The white wines are almost forgotten and there are only very few of them, which are then considered rare specialities. Laurence Féraud produces her blanc from the local varieties Grenache Blanc and Clairette Blanche. The growing methods according to her famous red wines are very traditional and Laurence also relies on the rule here: small quantity - great quality. The full density and aromatic complexity of Laurence's white wine is actually only revealed when it has matured over a few years. But then it shows distinctive, spicy notes of unmistakable character and unique personality, soft on the palate, supple and yet characterized by mineral race.
