Tasting note
Delicately golden in color with fresh green inclusions in the glass, the DeMorgenzon Reserve Chardonnay smells irresistibly of freshly baked brioche and tart fresh orange marmalade. Its backbone of fine lime and lemongrass on the palate combines beautifully with delicate floral notes of sweet clover and frangipani flowers. The finish is a masterpiece of Chardonnay with warm and rich vanilla and a creamy almond finish.

Excellent companion to seafood and crustaceans.
Vinification
The grapes for this Chardonany were handpicked with great care and then pressed all over the bunch. The resulting juice was filled into French oak barrels, where the fermentation process began naturally without any addition of commercial yeasts. 35% of the barrels used were made of virgin wood. After fermentation was complete, the wine matured on the lees for 11 months, after which the best barrels were selected for the rest of the production process. The selected barrels were aged for a further three months and then, after minimal filtering, filled onto the bottle and corked.
