About the wine
As a young man, Friedrich Becker dared to break with the parental tradition of the cooperative business and fill his own wines. This has become one of the best producers in the Palatinate and currently the best Pinot Noir winemaker in Germany. After Becker had already started talking in the 1980s with his clear, acidic white wine style, his collaboration with winemaker Stefan Dorst spurred him on to make continuous improvements in red wine.

Tasting note
Spicy and straight on the nose. Powerful Chardonnay with robust acid structure, compact texture and tension. The elegant finish provides a fine honey note that rounds off the work of art.

Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Chardonnay Mineral harmoniert hervorragend mit Geisskäse, Weichkäse und Geflügel.
Vinification
The grapes were carefully selected by hand, destemmed and gently juiced. The controlled fermentation and further aging took place in 228 liter oak barrels made from the finest French oak. After extensive yeast storage, the wine was bottled late in the year.
