About the wine
This Chardonnay matured at 1500 meters above sea level and impresses with its great aroma intensity. There are two well-known personalities behind the Aleanna Winery: Adrianna Catena, the youngest daughter of Nicolas Catena, and the oenologist Alejandro Vigil from Catena Zapata. El Enemigo is aged in barriques for 12 months and offers typical Chardonnay characteristics with vibrant freshness, slightly exotic fruit and distinctive roasted aromas.

Tasting note
Brilliant golden yellow with brilliant reflections. A fine bouquet of Williams pears, ripe bananas and dried apricots, complemented by brioche notes and caramel. The wine starts out creamy and quickly develops into a typical Chardonnay fruit with citric notes, golden delicious and vanilla. A distinctive minerality rounds off the impression. Accurate and elegant in an aromatic finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with white meats such as poultry, scallops and gratinated fish. Also great with soft cheese and salmon.
