About the wine
The 7.25 hectare vineyard is planted exclusively on the Cru de Vandières in the heart of the Marne Valley. The 36 plots of the estate, mostly old vines, are located on south and south-east facing slopes and are anchored on a soil mosaic: clay, chalk, sand and clay. This great diversity is a sign of the complexity of the terroir.

Tasting note
On the nose, with complex and slightly oxidative aromas of ripe apples, candied fruits, honey, hazelnuts, pastry and baking yeast. Full bodied on the palate with a juicy and broad mouthfeel and a strong, long finish.
Vinification
This pure Pinot Meunier is made up of 50% from the 2017 vintage and 50% from the eternal reserve wine, a Solera that began in 1992 and consists of more than 20 harvests. The base wine is fermented in steel tanks without malolactic fermentation; after the tirage, the Semper Fidelis matured “sur lattes” for 72 months. The dosage is Extra Brut and is 5 grams.
