Tasting note
The Chambolle-Musigny Les Cras smells aromatic of small red fruits. The tannins are delicate and soft. On the palate, there is a wonderful minerality, which gives this elegant wine a great freshness. The finish is of good length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lamb, venison, beef, duck.
Vinification
During the grape harvest, the grapes are picked by hand and sorted in two passes - in the first round, unripe fruit is removed, in the second round, it is ensured that no imperfect berries enter the winemaking process. The grapes are completely destemmed and fermented for around 12 days. After fermentation, the wines age for 15-18 months on the lees in oak barrels from Allier or Tronçais.
