About the wine

Patrick Piuze comes neither from a wine family nor from Europe, and yet the passion for an encounter with Marc Chapoutier took hold of him, never let go again and finally led to France after many stays at wineries all over the world. In Chablis, Patrick has earned a lot of recognition as a winemaker in a very short time, from 2008 a rising star with his own house and now a star - and a very popular one at that. His entertaining, sociable nature has opened many doors for him in Chablis and today he can buy the best grapes from countless privileged locations - because he does not own his own vineyards. Patrick Piuze is all about terroir, even the neutral, used barrels must only come from cool years so as not to mask the expression of the situation. Even at the level of Village wines, there is a fine differentiation according to terroir and up to 6 different wines are produced - and in what quality, silk elegance, discreet, cool art!
