Chablis Montée de Tonnerre 2021 - Domaine Julien Brocard

In Burgundy, the location in particular is decisive. And the Montée de Tonnerre premier cru location is right next to the Chablis Grand Cru hill, with a prime southwest orientation. Brocards have been working biodynamically for a long time and their wines have been very popular for years, particularly on the Baur-au-Lac terrace. On the first nose, this Chablis shows a smoky and chalky minerality, which then continues on the palate. The aromas alternate between Granny Smith and lime, plus a firm acidity and a salty finish.
