About the wine
The San Fabiano Calcinaia winery is located in the middle of Tuscany on the hills of the Chianti region. It covers 165 hectares in Poggibonsi and Castellina in Chianti. Guido and Isa Serio have owned the business since 1983 and are dedicated to producing authentic, top-class wines. In 2009, they began switching to organic production.

Im Anschluss überzeugen verspielte Nuancen von roter Pflaume, Erdbeere und Feige resolut und bewusst Ihre Geschmackssinne. Mit dominant-satten Gerbstoffen, kräftigem Körper und hervorstechender Säure präsentiert dieser Rotwein seine einwandfreie Qualität.

Heavy meat dishes such as roasts, bistecca fiorentina, grilled meats and game.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled mash fermentation for approx. 15-20 days, young wine aging in steel tanks, then 24 months in barriques and 6 months aging in bottle.
