About the wine
Intense, strong ruby red. Aromas of fresh red fruit, lively sour cherry and a touch of toasted wood, followed by a subtle note of unripe cherries. The wine is lively and fresh, well-structured with noticeable tannins and a soft, long-lasting finish that makes for pleasant drinkability.

Tasting note
A scent of ripe cherries rises to the nose, accompanied by fine roasted notes and a touch of spicy herbs. On the palate, Cecco has a beautiful fullness and balanced structure, which is supported by a lively freshness. The finish is long, powerful and with an elegant spiciness — a wine with character and temperament.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aged Parmigiano, hearty pasta dishes and wild ragouts. Particularly suitable for agnolini with mushroom sauce or venison pepper.
Vinification
Some of the grapes stay on the vine longer to develop additional fruit sweetness and concentration with the last autumn rays of sunshine. After fermentation, the wine ages for one year in wooden barrels, partly made of new oak wood, before sharpening its final contours in stainless steel.
