Tasting note
Intense ruby red with a slight shade of purple. Delicate aromas of red and black fruits with a fine coffee note. Harmonious on the palate with good structure, soft tannins and aromas of red fruits, spices and a bit of black pepper. Long-lasting aftertaste
Culinary recommendation
Goes particularly well with beef, game, lamb and grilled meats in general.
Vinification
12-day cold maceration at 6°C before fermentation in 500 liter oak barrel (French) at 27°C. After fermentation, further maceration of 12 days. The biological acid decomposition also took place in 500 liter barrels. This is followed by ageing in the best French oak barrels for 12 months.
