About the wine
Cantina di Calasetta is a cooperative of almost 100 years old on Sant'Antiocco, a small peninsula in the very south of Sardinia. The sandy soils in this area make it possible to grow the majority of the vines on their own roots, as phylloxera has never spread in this subsoil.

Tasting note
Ruby red. Intense, delicate and fruity on the nose, with aromas of cherries and floral notes. Soft, harmonious, fresh on the palate, with balanced tannins and a good finish.
Culinary recommendation
Pasta with meat sauces, roasts, medium-aged cheese
Vinification
Fermentation at a temperature of 24-26°C for 8 days. Ageing in steel and cement barrels.
