About the wine

Al-Cantàra was born in 2005. Right from the start, the winery has made a name for itself nationally and internationally, thanks to the extremely high quality of its wines. This was the first winery on Etna in terms of the number of important awards. Another distinguishing feature of Al-Cantàra's products is the sophisticated and modern packaging, whose distinctive labels are decorated by young Sicilian artists, most recently by Annachiara Di Pietro, with evocative representations that highlight the traditions, culture and area of Etna. The vineyard is located in the northern part of the volcano at an altitude of 620 meters above sea level. The soil is volcanic, rich in minerals and has a lot of structure.
