About the wine
Picturesque and sunny landscapes in Sardinia give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Sella & Mosca conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This grenache is very good to serve with spicy dishes or red meat.

Tasting note
Ruby red with garnet reflections. Very spicy and expressive on the nose. There are notes of warm spices, subtle roasted notes, some undergrowth. The whole thing is underlined with ripe, sweet fruit. Harmonious and velvety on the palate, with noticeable but polished tannins. As in the nose, it is again very spicy and full of character. Plum and subtle roasted notes. The aftertaste is long and has good aromatic persistence.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful with gnocchi, saltimbocca and grilled meats.
Vinification
Only the best selection of Cannonau grapes is used for the Riserva. Vinification of the mash in steel tanks. The young wine is then aged for 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels. This is followed by further aging in the bottle before the wine is sold.
