The winemaker from the Italian winery Campo alle Comete absolutely masters his craft. Tasting note
Intense and brilliant ruby red. The nose has fruity spicy notes, dark cherries and ripe blackberries and typical cassis notes. The combination of ripe and silky tannins and spicy freshness makes this wine balanced and pleasant, with persistent intense aromas and a fresh finish.

Goes well with duck, turkey, pork.
Vinification
The alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place in steel tanks for 3 weeks. Half of the wine is refined in stainless steel containers to underline the fruity notes. The other half matures over approximately 8-12 months in used and new medium-roast oak barrels and tonneaux. Minimum 6 months in bottle
