About the wine
Powerful, unadulterated and full of character — the Cabernet Sauvignon Unplugged shows intense aromas of dark berries, cassis and fine spices. Dense, juicy and full-bodied on the palate, with soft tannins and lots of expression. Pure drinking pleasure — no frills, completely unplugged.

Tasting note
Complex, bouquet with aromas of dark berries, cassis and cocoa, spiced with fine notes of roasted red pepper, tobacco and a subtle eucalyptus touch. Complex body with lots of depth, gripping tannins and a long finish.
Culinary recommendation
With its strong structure, it goes well with grilled cuisine, e.g. spare ribs, lamb chops, rib eye, plus grilled peppers, zucchini and corn. Also excellent with stews and game.
Vinification
A few words about vinification: picked by hand and subsequent spontaneous fermentation in INOX stainless steel tanks. This Cabernet Sauvignon is aged in used and new barriques. His “Unplugged” wines are, as he puts it, “produced without any frills, but with a great sense for the rhythm of nature.” This means: No pure yeast for fermentation, no enzymes, no fining agents and, in good years, no filtration.
