With the delicious Cabernet Blanc VdP, which was produced in 2021, you will definitely have a lot of fun. You can describe the landscape with such words as hilly. However, the Swiss winery Siebe Dupf Kellerei is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this white wine. We think he succeeded!

Tasting note
The Cabernet Blanc is pale golden yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose, opulent aromas of lime, lychee, ripe peach, grapefruit, gooseberry and slightly grassy notes inspire. On the palate, the wine is spicy and rich in extracts with lots of citrus fruit, a stimulating acid structure and a smooth and long-lasting finish. An extremely open and aromatic Cabernet Blanc with a bouquet reminiscent of a Sauvignon Blanc.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, spring dishes, fish, seafood, vegetables, cheese.
Vinification
Sustainable viticulture is also becoming increasingly important in our region. That is why our grape producers planted the first Cabernet Blanc vines in Magden and Maisprach a few years ago. This fungus-resistant grape variety was bred in 1991 by Swiss Valentin Blattner. It requires significantly less plant protection than conventional varieties. The cross comes from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety and an unknown, highly disease-resistant grape variety. After manual harvesting and a cool maceration period, fermentation takes place at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks before the wine is aged on the yeast for approx. 4 months. With the 2021 vintage, this wine was produced for the first time in the Siebe Dupf portfolio.
