About the wine
Blooming and fertile landscapes in Sicily give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Tasca d'Almerita conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. You will certainly enjoy the first-class Buonara Etna DOC, which was produced in 2016.

Tasting note
Bright yellow with greenish reflections. Straight, clean and present on the nose. Citrus notes, some wet stone and peach. White pepper. Delicate, firm and honest on the palate. Fine pome fruit flavor, plus citrus. Vibrating body. Very good length. A structured wine with race par excellence.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fried fish, vegetable risotto or arancini.
Vinification
The grapes grow terraced and 600 m above sea level on the northern slope of Etna on sandy and mineral-rich soils. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation does not take place. This is with the aim of maintaining the freshness of the Carricante grape variety. The aging process also takes place over four months in steel tanks and on our own yeast.
