Tasting note
Composed of 80% Meunier and 20% Chardonnay, with approx. 20% reserve wines. Aged with BSA in oak barrels with the traditional size of 205 liters. Tirage took place in March 2020, disgorged three years later in March 23. The nose shows fruity-nutty aromas of yellow plums, nectarines, apple crumble, toasted almonds and brioche, underlined with fine notes of marzipan, candied lemons and delicate floral scents. Challenging yet balanced on the palate, with a fine melt, at the same time crunchy freshness, juicy fruit and spicy grip.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with slightly stronger dishes, such as terrines and pies, vitello tonnato or marinated vegetables, but also with fried or grilled fish.
