Tasting note
Das würzige Duftspektrum des Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Fior del Vento von schwarzem Pfeffer, Gewürzen und Tabak zeigt vielschichtige Aromastruktur und viel Genusspotential. Die hervorstechenden Noten von roter Pflaume, Erdbeere und Feige gestalten ihre individuelle Textur. Das bleibt im Gedächtnis: Sein edles Rubinrot verleiht jedem Anlass eine besondere Note. Kräftiger Körper und hervorstechende Säure ergeben den Rotwein, welcher markant mit dominanten Gerbstoffen im Mund viel Charakter und Klasse zeigt.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meat, beef, lamb, game, poultry such as duck, mushroom ragout and aged cheese.
Vinification
Manual harvest with selection, fermentation in stainless steel tanks, aging for 12 months in used tonneau, a further 12 months in used large wooden barrels, refinement for 12 months in concrete tanks and 12 months in stainless steel tanks
