Bricco dell'Uccellone Barbera d'Asti DOCG's floral bouquet of lavender, spices and vanilla cleverly plays with your sense of smell. Next, playful nuances of black cherry and plum resolutely and consciously convince your senses of taste. Its noble ruby red crowns every festive occasion with style and elegance. You won't find this shade in any color catalog. Strong body and outstanding acidity make red wine, which is velvety with mild tannins in the mouth and shows plenty of character and class.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Piedmontese specialties and fine meat in sauce.
Vinification
A few words about vinification: The Barbera grapes from the legendary “Uccellone” vineyard are picked by hand and processed immediately. After gently squeezing the grapes, they are carefully macerated for 20 days at a controlled temperature. The young wine is then aged in barriques for 15 months and in the bottle for a further twelve months.
