About the wine
The Chardonnay grapes for this white wine come from the “Le Poteau” vineyard in the Grand Cru municipality of Bouzy, from vines that were planted as early as 1960. The wine aged in 350 liter oak barrels for around 18 months. On the nose, aromas of white peaches, citrus fruits, juicy pears and a subtle exotic note of green papaya develop, accompanied by spicy, finely smoky tones of precious wood and nuances of dried flowers and herbs. On the palate, it shows a beautiful, crunchy freshness and juicy fruit, which is supported by a subtle, mineral saltiness in the finale. Only 426 bottles were produced!

Tasting note
The nose shows aromas of white peaches, citrus fruits, juicy pears and subtle exoticism in the form of green papaya, spiced with finely smoky precious wood tones and notes of dried flowers and herbs. On the palate, showing nice crunchy freshness and juicy fruit, again supported by fine mineral saltiness in the finale.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish dishes, seafood and crustaceans, but also with various risotti, white meats and poultry, such as guinea fowl breast wrapped in bacon with creek cress sauce, Vichy carrots and celery puree.
