Tasting note
Deep ruby with purple reflections Intense, honest and wonderfully fruity-spicy on the nose. Blackberry, reminiscent of sweet cassis. Blackberry jam, mint, hot spices. Rich and easy to grip on the palate. The tannins are of good, mature quality. Solid aroma and skilfully structured. The aftertaste is long and is accompanied by lots of ripe, black fruit.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with tender cuts of beef or lamb, fried or grilled.
Vinification
The grapes are already selected during the harvest. The maceration period and fermentation take place in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The young wine remains in the steel tanks until the end of the year and the malolactic fermentation is complete. Only then is it grown on small oak barrels and aged in them for nine months.
