About the wine
Covitoro was founded in 1974 and is a leader in the Toro region. It has over 50% of the oldest vines in the DO. Equipped with the latest technology, the facilities are IFS and BRC certified.

Tasting note
Youthful ruby red with purple reflections. BOS - a Spanish term for bull, which in this form is rather tame with smooth fur. An excellent wine that doesn't take long to make new friends. The bouquet is finely defined, with delicate cassis, blackberry and raspberry notes. The maturation in barriques leaves hardly any traces, except that the wine is more balanced and harmonious as a result. Smooth and long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal for every day, perfect for grilling season, cold platters, aperitif.
Vinification
30% of the wine is produced traditionally and fermented in a controlled manner at 27°C for 15 days. 70% is delested for 5 days. Aged for four months in French oak.
