Tasting note
With a bright cherry color, obtained through gentle extraction, the Vino de Parcela Viña Alta presents a tempting nose full of ripe fruit. The delicate start leads to an intense body, starting with red cherries and transitioning into light green notes of grape leaves. As you progress, subtle nuances of candied fruit, lavender and cloves unfold. The wine delights with a persistent, pleasant aftertaste. A limited production of 1424 numbered bottles.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful with beef — from steaks to stroganoff to tartare or slow-cooked roast from the oven. Goes well with various types of blue cheese — from Gorgonzola to Roquefort to Blue Stilton.
Vinification
After manual grape selection, the grapes ferment in 400-liter French oak barrels. Submerging the mash daily during fermentation highlights the Garnacha essence. After gentle manual pressing, the wine ages for 14 months in 500-liter French oak barrels, giving it its unique personality and depth.
