Tasting note
The barren calcareous soil, the special microclimate and the very old vines provide the conditions for expressive intensive Blaufränkisch to flourish here, in Mariental. A scent of black wild cherry, blackberry, eucalyptus, forest soil and fine fennel seeds dominates the glass. Noble and gentle with an impressively fruity depth with pointed acidity, dark chocolate mousse and raspberry pulp complete the crowning finish.
